Tom Wehrle Shop Foreman

Tom has lived in Wasaga Beach since 1975, and has been employed at Kells Service Centre Inc since 1980.  Tom started his road to becoming a Technician through Collingwood Collegiate Institute (CCI) when co-op was called a work week, from there Tom started his apprenticeship and in 1986 became a Licensed Automotive Service Technician.  Tom also in 1990 upgraded his license to include Truck & Coach Technician at Centennial College.  Tom also in 2012 took on the role of shop foreman.  Tom as well as all the technicians are constantly up grading their automotive knowledge through monthly training.

Jason Ouimet Technician

Jason has lived in the Collingwood area since 2003, now presently in Singhampton and also has been employed at Kells Service Centre Inc since 2003.  Jason started his apprenticeship in 1996 and in 2001 became a Licensed Automotive Service Technician.  When Jason joined the Kells Team, he brought with him his integrity, quality service and special attention to detail.  Jason as well as all the technicians are constantly up grading their automotive knowledge through monthly training.

Paul Dickson Technician

Paul has lived all over Ontario since 1953, now presently in Wasaga Beach, and has been employed at Kells Service Centre Inc since 2013. Paul started his apprenticeship in 1972 and in 1975 became a Licensed Automotive Service Technician as well Truck & Coach Technician. Through out Paul’s career he has worked for, managed and owned his own shops, all with great pride and success.  Honesty, quality service and fixed right the first time are all number one characters with Paul when he works on your vehicle.  Paul as well as all the technicians are constantly up grading their automotive knowledge through monthly training.

 

Steve Kopacz Apprentice/Operator

Steve has lived in Wasaga Beach since 1979, and has been employed at Kells Service Centre Inc since 2012.  Steve comes to us with a wealth of knowledge in both a machinist of engine components for rebuilding and performance, as well as experience in Light to Medium Duty Towing.  In 2014 Steve signed up for Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship.

Tom Kells Sr President

Tom has lived most of his life in Collingwood since 1947.  Tom started Kells Service Centre Inc in 1977, after working both in Toronto and here in Collingwood.  Tom received his license for a Automotive Service Technician in 1969.  Tom has 50 years experience in the towing industry, he is also Certified Heavy Recovery trained through the Ontario Recovery Group.  Tom has been President of the O.R.G. on three different occasions.  Tom prides himself on having the staff in place to look after our clients to the high standards he expects.

Tom Kells Jr Treasurer

Tom has lived in Collingwood since 1973, and has been employed by Kells Service Centre Inc. since 1991.  Prior, Tom worked around the shop pumping gas, sweeping the floor and helping on the odd tow call. First vehicle Tom drove was a 5ton wrecker.  In 1994 Tom became a partner in the business, and started to look after the day to day operations of the business.  Tom also is Certified Heavy Recovery trained through the Ontario Recovery Group as well through Wreckermaster Level 4/5.  Tom also prides himself on his staff, and the great client reviews, that are a result of the staff listening to the clients, working with the clients, keeping promises, fixed right the first time, and price quoted is price paid.
